GOeureka - (ICO Review) Future of Online Hotel Reservations With Facilities and Services that are easy to use



GOeureka is an online booking platform that leverages blockchain technology to tackle current issues in the travel industry such as high commission structures imposed by online travel agencies (OTAs) and the fragmented loyalty programmes within the hotel industry.


GOeureka aims to develop an easy to use, reliable Facility and Services booking system with persistent indisputable records. As with all new systems, much of what is proposed will evolve over time as requirements change.

Web Application Platform
Booking & Inventory Platform

The web application platform will host a booking platform for travelers and a hotel inventory system for hotels. Travelers will be able to search and book hotels. Hotels can update room inventory and prices directly or integrate with channel managers.

The Proxy Wallet

One key issue typically faced when designing a blockchain system for mass adoption is the handling of user wallets. While a hardware wallet like a Ledger Nano or a plug in like Metamask can expect users to use a recovery phrase, general users are unlikely to be happy with such a solution.

They intend to use what is called a proxy wallet for all Ether transactions:

  • Users will undergo a proof of identity when signing up for GOeureka
  • Cryptographic Key Pairs are created on user devices and never leave their devices
  • A corresponding smart contract called a “proxy wallet” will be created on the blockchain
  • The user channels all transactions via the proxy wallet which is tied to the user’s identity
  • The proxy wallet allows the user to interact with all parts of the GOeureka system
  • On registration of a lost phone, GOeureka can, via a rigorous process, establish the identity of the account and assign that person’s new address to be the new controller of the proxy wallet.

GO Token
The GO Token is a digital token or virtual currency designed to facilitate transactions on the GO platform for the purchase of room nights, hotel services, and other internal processes and payments within the GO infrastructure. GO Tokens are awarded to initial investors during the ICO token sale and may be traded on exchanges in the future or spent on the GO platform.

Programmatic marketing is essentially the use of software to purchase digital advertising. It is powered by audience data and machine learning and allows marketers to connect with their best customers and prospects across all touch points. This will allow us to run data-driven digital activation campaigns at scale to drive their customer acquisition program. Through our DSP partnership, they will be able to take an audience-centric approach to media buying, target consumers at scale, and reduce media wastage.

To support their marketing activities, they plan to apportion part of the ICO funds to hire a team of advertising and media specialists. They have budgeted for the following personnel:

GO will incorporate a range of different promotional tools that reward our customers for signing up, making repeat bookings, and referring people to the platform. They will offer first-time sign-up bonuses for the first 250,000 users and implement a customer referral program for all new users. The referral program will be one of our many recruiting strategies where current customers are rewarded for referring new users to GO.
